What’s going on in my life
I swear, these God-bothering scolds keep padding their lists.
I realize now that survivors of horrors are all around us, not just older people but young people too, with stories that will help the rest of us put our lives in perspective, if only we ask them to share those stories with us.
It gets my back up when people say dogs don’t have souls. If we have souls, so do they.
A couple of other examples from my own experience: I was born in southeast Missouri, where horses are harses, and lived for a year in northeast Montana, where the towns of Havre and Chateau are Haver and Shotto.
Isn’t it about time we impose visibility and braking action limits on drivers? Or at a minimum, on drivers of large commercial vehicles?
On-on to 2020, dear friends, and another decade of blogging at Paul’s Thing!
You’ve probably noticed a strong turn to the personal here at Paul’s Thing. I’ve been writing about the things that make my life worth living, avoiding commenting on the things that make me wish people were better than they are, that we lived in a happier, more humane world.
I guess you could argue that the advent calendar is religious equivalent of the Festival of Lights, but I want candles too!
