Someone Please Pass the Oil of Cloves

An upper molar is bothering me, the same tooth that drove me to endure endodontic torture in June. It’s acting up again and I’m going to have to call the dentist to see if he can work me in. As a metaphor for tonight’s debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, an aching tooth seems […]

Another Car Show Photoblog

Last Saturday I rode the motorcycle over to the Gregory School for the annual Tucson Classics Car Show. I go every year, making sure to get there before the day heats up and the crowds descend. The Gregory School is one of Tucson’s prettiest campuses, a pleasant venue for an outdoor car show. It used […]

Tourist Season Photoblog

It’s been a couple of weeks. Our goddaughter Natasha and her five-year-old daughter Giorgianna have been here for several days, not counting side trips to northern Arizona and New Mexico. Donna took them to the airport this morning for their flight home to San Jose. Our granddaughter Taylor came down from Las Vegas last Friday […]

Tuesday Bag o’ Demons

Neither founder lives in Tucson now, but they’re […]

Tuesday Bag o’ Expectations

If anyone deserved to moderate a Trump-Clinton debate, it would have been Megyn Kelly. That was never going to happen, but Hillary made sure Megyn was there in spirit when she brought up Donald’s history of saying horrible things about women, specifically mentioning the Hispanic Miss Universe winner Trump later called “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping.” I can picture Megyn grinning from ear to ear over that.
