Our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson visited over the weekend.
Sorry there’s not more today, but at least there’s something.
I wrote this post ten years ago and am moving it back to the top of the blog for Memorial Day.
My pen pal, like me a retired military officer, says he’s ready to quit reading and watching the news altogether, because everything’s political and both sides and so on.
Covid turned me into a hermit, and I find I enjoy the quiet life.
A note from Polly, left in an empty plastic container by the sink: “Where’s the split pea soup? There was a WHOLE CONTAINER!” Sorry, kiddo, I cooked it and I polished off the leftovers.
Now added to my list of lifetime medical experiences: cardiac ablation for atrial fibrillation.
