Happy Thanksgiving to my readers in the U.S.A., and happy seasonal blessings to the rest of you.
We bought prepared Thanksgiving dinners the last two times, and guess what? Between reheating and prep, they’re almost as much work as a DIY feast. Our only takeout this year will be the traditional Costco pumpkin pie.
The only wall-to-wall carpeting left in our house was in the living and dining rooms. Polly and Donna have ripped up most of it.
I was once told this old watch (bought in 1978) wasn’t worth what it would cost to fix.
Oh, how I wish now we’d taken more photos back in those glorious days! Why couldn’t they have invented camera phones sooner?
So am I supposed to be observing Movember or No Nut November? I can never keep those two straight.
