I’ve yet to finish my morning sweep of the news, but I’ll stick my neck out and say Tampa, Brandon, and MacDill AFB are still there and functioning in the wake of Hurricane Milton.
I’m retired now and fairly sedentary. I read books, cook, blog, and walk my dogs. But I’ve got the watch to show I once was a sketchy dude!
There. The KC-10 Extender retires after 44 years of service, and I have to make it all about me!
I’m tickled to see my own name still on the wall, alongside those of fondly-remembered squadronmates.
I don’t remember the first watch I ever bought for myself, but I’m guessing it was a Timex from a rack at Rexall or Woolworths.
