Donna and tied the knot in a civil ceremony at the courthouse in Wiesbaden, Germany, on the 2nd of December, 1965. Here we are at the courthouse, immediately after being pronounced husband and wife, with my father, mother, and sisters.
Happy anniversary, dear Donna. May there be many more!
What’s on for our big day? Not much, given the times we live in. Donna’s balancing the checkbook and I’m cooking dinner (bœuf à la Bourguignonne, no less). I braved a gift-getting outing yesterday, and knowing Donna would scold me if I went overboard, this is what I came home with.
Dear reader, she didn’t scold me.
