I use a portable satellite radio receiver to listen to the blues when I’m grilling on the patio. Last weekend the radio wouldn’t work – the antenna lead had been cut in half. I figured our yard guy must have accidentally severed it with a hoe. Since the lead’s coaxial, splicing and wrapping it with electrical tape wouldn’t work, so, for twenty bucks, I bought a replacement antenna.
This morning I found the new antenna lead cut in half. Looking closer, it wasn’t cut – it was gnawed. Darling Schatzi seems to be the culprit. I should have suspected her immediately – a few months ago she chewed through our DSL line and I had to rewire and reconnect both computers.
Bad dog. No photo today.
