I fell for a phishing scam on Facebook and spammed all my friends. Could I be more of an AOL-level rube? I don’t know if I’ll be able to show my face around those parts ever again. This would be a good time to just close my account and move on. I’m so embarrassed!
I won’t, though, not yet. Facebook remains the most effective tool for telling friends and acquaintances about new blog posts.* I’ll be the butt of jokes for a while; I earned it and I’ll own it. And yes, before you ask, I changed all my passwords … lordy, there were a lot of them to change!
In other news, Donna got her COVID booster and annual flu shots. We’re feeling snug and protected, at least temporarily. Good thing, too, because we’re back on the dinner circuit and might even start going to movies again. Speaking of screens, we took in the first episode of “The Morning Show” on Apple TV and quite liked it. I was expecting something light and insubstantial, like the kind of morning show it depicts. Happily, it’s anything but.
*Maybe not. See my more recent post.
