It snows in Tucson about once every two years, usually in late January or early February. So yesterday’s snow was right on schedule.
Little did I know, when I took this photo from our front door, that less than an inch of snow would shut Tucson down. My God, you’d have thought it was End Times. Schools were closed. The university was closed. Roads and bridges were closed. I usually drive 30 minutes to get to work. This morning it took more than an hour.
You know, in Denver they’re probably laughing at us. But hey, snow in Tucson? It’s a big deal to us!
