It seems I’ve been neglecting the blog again. So here are three unrelated (and uncalled for) comments:
My government plans to celebrate the 4th anniversary of 9/11 with a march and country & western concert. Ah, and you have to register in order to participate (do you have to prove you have a yellow “support our troops” magnet on your trunk?). What’s the word I’m looking for? Inappropriate? Creepy? Inappropriate and creepy?
Go, Cindy Sheehan. You’re making a lot of people uncomfortable, making them think about things they’d prefer to pretend weren’t happening. That’s a good thing.
Saw a bobcat in my yard the other day. Then this morning I saw another one on my school bus route. Suddenly it’s bobcats everywhere!
