I came home yesterday and found a notice taped to my door: Weblog Protective Services says if I don’t hurry up and write some entries, they’re gonna take my blogs away and give them to Kevin Federline.
So here’s what I’m working on: a letter to the authorities protesting first-class security screening lines at airports. The level of pointless TSA harassment keeps getting higher, but now they’ve added class to the mix, as in more hassle for you and me but less hassle for our betters. Class warfare? Where do I enlist?
People who pay four to six times what we pay for a flight ought to get Ambassador Clubs, big seats, and better service. But we’re all taxpayers, rich and poor alike, and the TSA has no goddamn business colluding with the airlines in setting up exclusive security screening stations for first-class passengers. TSA works for all of us, n’est pas?
When I get my letter written, I’ll share it with you here. Maybe you could send one to your congressmen too.
