Last two weeks, the word “pushback” has been running through my mind. As in: “Mister President, we’re experiencing significant pushback on extending tax cuts to the rich.”<\/p>\n
I hate buzzwords. Pushback is high on my list of buzzwords. But there it is, at the forefront of my consciousness. Why?<\/p>\n
And then I remembered a conversation I had with my son two weeks ago, after hashing in Las Vegas<\/a>.<\/p>\n The conversation was about splashback. As in using a urinal while wearing running shorts and feeling splashback on your naked legs. I had just experienced splashback in the mens’ room at the on-after pub in Las Vegas. My son told me about using the urinals at the Bellagio<\/a>, which had some sort of lining that prevented splashback.<\/p>\n Now we’re talking!
