    Last night’s run and walk marked the event’s third anniversary, and sponsoring restaurants lured thousands downtown with sidewalk bands and vendor tents along the route. Our walk was somewhat impaired by the crowds, and we had a tough time finding outdoor seating at our favorite cafe later. We’re looking forward to next week and beyond, when there will be fewer and fewer people. By the time summer arrives and temps rise to the 100-degree range, only the hardest of the hard core will remain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
