He’s been putting out this more or less monthly magazine since January 2020, and every issue is full of news and information about hashing and hashers. The thing about Hazukashii, if you haven’t met him (and I’d be surprised if you haven’t), here’s a guy who travels around the world, visiting hashes in every corner of it, attending hash events and interhashes, sitting down with elder hashers and interviewing them before their memories are lost to the rest of us, and digging deep into the history of the clubs he visits and runs trail with. He’s following in the footsteps of hash genealogists Tumblin’ Bill Panton and Tim “Magic” Hughes (and if I may be so immodest, younger hashers like myself and ZiPpy the Cyberpimp, who made earlier stabs at exploring hash history online). I had the privilege of reading and reviewing some of Hazukashii’s chapters while he was in the process of writing his book, and I tip my hat … he’s done something of great value here, and serious hashers ought to get themselves a copy.

And how can you do that? Just go to Amazon and search for “True Trail” in the books department. It’s available in hardcover, paperback, and Kindle.

[412,4,30
3116,4885,4048,4884
post-37228","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-books-reviews","category-hash-house-harriers","category-reviews","tag-onon","tag-halfamindisallyouneed","tag-ononmagazine","tag-truetrail
["GET
