{"id":22290,"date":"2018-05-22T10:41:18","date_gmt":"2018-05-22T17:41:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pwoodford.net\/blog\/?p=22290"},"modified":"2023-01-31T17:38:51","modified_gmt":"2023-02-01T00:38:51","slug":"air-minded-pasm-photoblog-xii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pwoodford.net\/blog\/?p=22290","title":{"rendered":"Air-Minded: PASM Photoblog XII"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;ve been&nbsp;some&nbsp;changes at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pimaair.org\">Pima Air &amp; Space Museum<\/a>, where I work as a volunteer docent. Our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pimaair.org\/aircraft-by-name\/item\/de-havilland-t-35-vampire\">T.35 Vampire<\/a>, once used as a trainer and staff support aircraft by the Royal Australian Air Force, has been moved indoors, and not a moment too soon: de Havilland&nbsp;used molded plywood in its construction,&nbsp;and&nbsp;those panels were taking a beating in the Arizona sun.&nbsp;The Vampire&#8217;s now in the main exhibit hangar, near where our two-seat <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pimaair.org\/aircraft-by-name\/item\/mikoyan-gurevich-mig-15uti-fagot\">MiG-15 UTI<\/a> trainer was once suspended.
