Our daughter moved back to Las Vegas last weekend, so now both our children (and our grandchildren) live there.\u00a0 Donna’s birthday is a month from now, so we’ll use that excuse to drive up for a long weekend to see how the kids are doing.<\/p>\n
I’m trying to get tickets to Bette Midler’s show at Caesar’s Palace . . . we usually stay away from The Strip when we’re in town, but what the hell, it’s Donna’s birthday, and from all I hear it’s a killer show.<\/p>\n
They say your kids are never really gone until they finally take their stuff out of your house.\u00a0 The rafters of our garage are packed with Polly’s stuff, and I hope we can at least take some of it up to her.<\/p>\n
