Two friends\u00a0are recovering from accident injuries, pretty serious injuries at that.\u00a0 I call them every now and then, just to let them know I’m thinking about them.\u00a0 Our mothers told us to call our friends when they’re sick or suffering, and to visit them at home or in the hospital, so we all know it’s an important thing to do.<\/p>\n

But you don’t know how important it is until friends call you when you’re down.\u00a0 Several friends called yesterday after my leg surgery<\/a>, and their calls made a huge difference in my outlook.\u00a0 You just can’t mope around when you know people care about you.<\/p>\n
