And my wife says I&#8217;m not social. Let&#8217;s see: there&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/paul.woodford\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/pwoodford.net\" target=\"_blank\">my own blogs<\/a> (which number three, not counting the <a href=\"http:\/\/pwoodford.net\/edreams\/\" target=\"_blank\">embroidery blog<\/a> I set up for Donna), the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/blog\/pwoodford\" target=\"_blank\">Daily Kos diary page<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/paulwoodford\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/u\/0\/109580938196885007148\/posts\" target=\"_blank\">Google+<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/halfmind\/sets\" target=\"_blank\">Flickr<\/a>, and a <a href=\"http:\/\/pqgw.tumblr.com\" target=\"_blank\">Tumblr<\/a>. I think at one point I had a LiveJournal account\u00a0&#8230; oh,\u00a0yeah, and I was on Diaspora briefly before it went tits up.<\/p>\n<p>Spread too thin, or spreading out\u00a0to connect with others who share my interests? One shouldn&#8217;t\u00a0stereotype people who gravitate toward Twitter, say, or Tumblr, but I think it&#8217;s fair to say different forms of social media offer different kinds of social experiences and attract different types of people, and who knows where in the darkness\u00a0my ironic point of light will find an affirming flame?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So now I&#8217;m on Ello too.
