Bimbo by Day & Casual Friday
One Sunday in October 2006 founders and Grand Mattresses for Life Bimbo by Day and Casual Friday hared the first bicycle hash in Tucson, Arizona. They decided to make the bash a monthly event with road bike friendly trails so that any hasher with a bicycle could participate. [...]
Our scheduled hare, who scouted trail and even set up a special Facebook page for the bash, broke his bike the day before and had to ask Arthur Gash & You Gotta Fuck Me to Find Out to step in and lay trail. They did, using his original start location at Menlo Park on the [...]
Flying Booger at the beer check.
Who knew the Father’s Day Bash was going to fall on the hottest day of the year (so far)? It’s 114°F now; about 90 when I started haring trail from Hi Corbett Field this morning; mid-90s by the time I got to the beer check; 104 when I [...]
Your scribe failed roll call today. Arthur Gash and co-hare Eff Me said they were going to recruit new bashers, and they came through. In addition to the usual suspects … Wankers Aweigh, Subatomic Equipment, Loose Nut, Deep Dish, 3IY, Flying Booger & Pick’n’Flick, and Stella … five jHavelina hashers turned out, and the only [...]

Somehow or other we missed bashing in January, so the February meetup was our first event of 2016. We kicked it off right with a big crowd of bashers, including some rarely-seen jHavelina hashers and a group of Monthly Cycle bashers who drove all the way up from Sierra Vista.
We met at Tucson’s Himmel [...]
The hares, Wankers Aweigh & Subatomic Equipment, put out the word to meet at the Famous Sam’s on Silverbell & Grant. Word really travels, because Santa Gash showed up, all the way from the North Pole! Also there: Flying Booger, Loose Nut, Deep Dish, Fuck Me … and Hot Legs, to take our photo.
Ten-mile trail (twelve with BTs) on the east side, hared by yours truly with logistical help from Pick’n’Flick, H.M.Ho, and Capt. Einstein. Who says you need a big pack to have a good time? Hash Jive, Pearl of the Andes, Loose Nut, and Pick’n’Flick were good company. Here’s a photoblog from yesterday.
The wily [...]
