The cool thing about blogging is that readers can enter the conversation. It’s good for me and it’s good for readers. Reader comments can take blog entries in new directions, add interesting information, tell hashers how things are done in other parts of the world, or put me back in my place when I get uppity. Sometimes — okay, almost always — reader comments are more interesting than what I wrote. Sometimes — okay, hardly ever — reader comments are dumb as hell. I value them all.
But please: no spam, no personal attacks. I won’t tolerate comment spam. If a comment thread veers toward personal attack, I’ll step in as moderator, deleting comments if necessary. But that’s it. Your comments are welcome here.
Public comments: to add comments to blog entries, you’ll first need to register as a member. Once you’ve registered, you’ll need to log in on future visits. Registration and log-in links are on the right sidebar.
