Virgin hares Missed a Spot and Spot Remover laid a trail through central Tucson this morning, and the pack rode it and said it was shitty (which, if you’re new to hashspeak, means “good”). The Pedalfiles assembled at Himmel Park at 9 AM: the hares, Flying Booger & Pick’n’Flick, Burning Bush, Deep Dish, Wankers Aweigh [...]  The Pima Independent Sunday Social Hash House Harriers are back after a summer break, hashier than ever … it was raining hard about an hour before the start and I worried no one would show up, but wow, what a turnout! The pack (minus hares CD & Slew, and the photographer, yours truly) Beggin’ [...] Long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away . . . Luke: You were in a hash kennel? Ben: I was once a Hash House Harrier, the same as your father. Luke: My father wasn’t a Hash House Harrier. He was a navigator on a space freighter. Ben: That’s what your mother [...] Long Beach and Las Vegas hasher Tuna Taco died last night. I don’t have many details. Adios MF from Las Vegas called to tell me about it, since I knew Tuna and was looking forward to seeing him again … Tuna was supposed to move today from Las Vegas to Chandler, Arizona, and I’d hoped [...] |
