Update (9/8/11): A couple of weeks ago Panama H3 let it be known they are bidding for AIH 2013. I haven’t heard talk of any other bids. Panama sounds like a great venue, and I wish them luck! Woodpecker & El Paso at the ski lodge Just three of us this morning: me, Redheaded Woodpecker, and Asshole in El Paso. A last-minute start location adjustment brought us together at Toni’s Restaurant on 22nd, a block away from our intended meetup point, Gus Balon’s Restaurant, which is from now on, henceforth, and forevermore [...] God damn, it’s hot out! Redheaded Woodpecker scheduled the start of the June Pedalfiles Bash for 8:00 AM, so apparently I’m not the only one to notice the temperature. Of course the problem with starting a bash this early in the morning is that none of our regular watering holes open until 11:00 AM. Solution? [...] |
