No way! Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys were once banned from American libraries?

State senators in Delaware want schools to notify parents 48 hours prior to any book being used in the classroom, so that parents can pull kids from school during those times.  Really dangerous books like To Kill a Mockingbird.

Speaking of To Kill a Mockingbird, here’s a 50-year summary of attempts to keep kids from reading it.

Bastard Out of Carolina not only banned, teachers can’t even utter the title.  At least one teacher is fighting back.
