I have a weblog and a digital camera.  You’d think there’d be more photos here, wouldn’t you?  Okay, I’ll try harder. I really will.

The first one is overdue.  Our son and his family were here for Hallowe’en, and we carved jack-o’-lanterns together.  This is our grandaughter Taylor and her dad working on their pumpkins:

Yesterday Donna and I went hiking with friends in the Chiricahua Mountains.  We were expecting tumbleweeds and cactus, not maple trees, and it was a real treat to see the changing leaves.  This is Donna with our friend Sue, halfway up the trail:

By the way, the trail was 4.5 miles each way, with an altitude gain of 1000 feet. What did people do before ibuprofen was invented?
