Neglecting the weblog again. Not particularly following the news, so I don’t have much to say. Donna’s back east with a sick relative, and I’m holding down the fort alone. No big deal: feed (and clean up after) myself, two cats, and a bird; work (and how!); paint a couple of doors; service and wash Donna’s car . . . it’s amazing how domestic chores expand to fill up the available time.
Adware infection! I switched to Firefox months ago, but lately, IE will launch itself and run an obnoxious diet supplement ad, complete with audio. Have I scanned? Yes, with Spybot, AdAware, and McAfee. Every time they find (and delete) malware and adware, yet the diet ad continues to pop up. Maybe the Luddites were on to something.
Okay, this Luddite is signing off. Time to pull my dinner out of the microware and watch some TV . . . West Wing’s on in half an hour.
