Thus it begins, the slide toward senile dementia. It’s not Donna I’m worried about, it’s me: after dozing off while reviewing my museum notes I woke up to discover I was on Wikipedia, boning [...] We sent our Thanksgiving guests on their way with full bags and plastic containers, but we still have leftovers. Donna always says I don’t eat leftovers, but that’s not true. I do eat leftovers, especially pie, and I made sure we saved some for ourselves! I’m doing catch-up blogging this morning … i.e., leftovers … [...] Green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing, rolls, smoked brisket, turkey & gravy (cranberry sauce, alas, forgotten), Mandarin orange salad And I’m not even going to mention the deserts: Beth’s lovely cheesecake, pumpkin pie, apple pie. Nor the appetizers: beer-boiled shrimp, cheese, olives, crackers, homemade giardiniera relish (thanks again to Beth).
